Monday Workspace

A sawhorse worktable with the iconic Arco lamp hovering over it, sheets of paper waiting to be scribbled upon with the blueprint for a new idea, rolls of fabric ready to be fashioned into something fabulous and to top it all, that utterly fabulous ceiling..Surely there isn't a better place to start a brand new work week! What's not to love about this room? Of the two walls that we can see here..one is lined with books and the other all glass...I love the old rugs on the floors..they bring so much warmth and character  to an otherwise modern room.

I'm totally digging the highly industrial vibe going on in this workspace. I'm working on my own design studio  at home these days and even though the look is anything but industrial, the distressed worktable on casters is something I could totally use!

I'm  loving the combination of wood and hide in the very masculine work corner. The framed photos, the narrow lacquered desk & painted floor (?)  bring just the right amount of white to visually balance the whole space...

It's been my longest break from blogging..nearly 2 months!! I have to say it was time well spent..working on my dream project. We also took a wonderful vacation for two weeks which rejuvenated me like nothing else could! Will share details of both in the coming days. Have a  great start to a lovely new week!

The thing is, I'm not letting that ice-cream melt all over my hand! After procrastinating for some time, I've decided that dreams are not something you put on the back-burner. So, I've finally gotten down to pursuing a long-time dream of mine. I will share more details with you as things get a little more concrete. Meanwhile, I'll keep popping in and out of here..posting when I can. I do hope to have a better frequency of blogging in some time. Until then, please bear with my sporadic appearances. I am totally loving this home office with its vintage looking dark wallpaper and white furniture..the fact that mercury has already touched 34 degrees (celsius) here in delhi doesn't make me love the fuzzy chair any less!
