I loved the collection by Marc Jacobs at the New York fashion week, with 'the soldier and the doll' as the underlying theme...it is poetic, charming and translates into an easy wardrobe...

The charcoal, white & burnt orange of this outfit look just as stunning...

 ...when applied to this gorgeous room... eye-catching yet restful. I love the mix of French country headboards, bone-inlay side table and the classic X-bench in that beautiful orange hue ... I am nuts about that lamp too!!

This orange and black chiffon dress from BCBG Fall 2011 collection may not be for all ( it has been called frumpy fashion by some critics)....
