Bringing Jack home...

With the royal  nuptials of William & Catherine looming large on the horizon, it seemed almost mandatory that I do a post about the flavour of the month... 'all things British'!....Don't worry, I will stear clear of the plethora of royal wedding-related memorabilia and stories and I will also not speculate about Kate's wedding dress..since in a little over 12 hours the world will get to see that much talked-about 'frock' and all the other royal bells  and whistles!!

39 going on 40...

No ..not me ( I still have a couple of years to go)..its the mercury that I'm talking about!! In degrees Celsius...(102 going on 104 in Fahrenheit)...and it is just the begining... a couple more weeks and we'll be roasting...since 48+ ( approx. 119F ) is par for the course around here..at that time of the year.

All my faculties slow down ( mainly the brain) with the rising temperatures and the temper soares in tandem with the mercury...not a great combination to have ...

If only I had this little oasis in my backyard to cool-off...

It's all yellow...

...as also for joy, happiness and warmth..indeed a color that stands for cheerful energy. I do love me some sunshine yellow..but my favourite shade of yellow is one with the slightest hint of red in it..closer to mimosa and even marigold ( the color of my header)...a little deeper color but still vibrant and joyous.  Here's a whole lot of good cheer coming your way..take it all in !!
