Impressions...


The Bride.....stunning, radiant and visibly happy.




The dress...beautiful, elegant and understated (Grace Kelly-esque).




The brothers royal...graceful and so in sync...




The setting...magnificent...




The ceremony...at once somber..




..and joyous..




The matriarchs... classic, restrained and graceful...




The well-heeled and their hats... a true spectacle..




















The odd-balls...almost sinister...




The newly-minted Duke & Duchess of Cambridge...in love and showing it...




The ride back in the carriage...stuff every little girls dreams are made of...




The pageantry..regal and oh-so-British...




The kiss...real, warm and a little playful...




The future...happily ever after ( hopefully)!

    MCL- thankyou! the step sisters from cinderella was the first thimng that came to my mind as well! i'm sure the princesses are very sweet girls but with the kind of resources at their disposal they could(and should) have done better..xx meenal

    Great post! You know, I have seen some of these pics a million times but they still give me goosebumps...esp. Kate's clear happiness and the unmistakeable love Kate and William have for each other!

    Love your post and agree with everything with the exception of the "odd-balls"! I love love LOVED their outfits & was surprised to learn they were Valentino Haute Couture as the looks were so very quirky & British!
