All things gold and brass have been making their presence felt in decor world for some time now and 2011 is going to be no different. I thought I might as well share some of my favourite interiors with a hint of gold. I do have a tiny magpie hidden deep inside me...still my love for gold and glitter is fairly restrained ...I like it best when it is used sparingly, much like a favourite jewel, as is evident in most of these images .....
The first three images are a perfect representation of mixing just a touch of gold with a neutral palatte to enhance a room...gold works beautifully with the whites, beiges and black...

ReplyDeleteNever one to hold back, I am going all out with a love of gold that far exceeds "just a touch"! Of course, this isn't always in the slightest bit practical as most clients don't share my obsession, but I do like to sneak just a touch of it into my schemes. {My own house has quite a lot of it, but then it is a 1970s home so I can get away with it. In my mind anyway....}
